On May 19, a delegation from the Kuwaiti-Jordanian Friendship Parliamentary Group met with the King Al-Hussein bin Abdullah II and Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour of Jordan.
The King praised the strong relations between Jordan and Kuwait in all sectors and called for more efforts to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in the interest of both countries, especially at the parliamentary and legislative levels.
Mr. Ensour said that Jordan and Kuwait have a "common denominator," given their experience with parliamentary democracy and freedom of expression. The Head of the delegation, MP Hamad Al Harshani, added that the two countries were indeed keen to bolster cooperation for parliamentary issues and in other areas.
