The 29th Farvadin, the day of the Iran Army, gave the opportunity to the Iranian political and spiritual leadership, Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, to reiterate their confidence in the "popular" military apparatus and praised its contribution to "many successfully-tested innovations," which strengthens the "national power" against the "irrationality of the camp of global arrogance," Before meeting with Hezbollah chief Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah, the Supreme Leader Khamenei overtly denounced "America" whose drones "massacre innocent people in Afghanistan," and whose covert operatives "kill the people in Iraq and Syria." President Ahmadinejad stressed the stabilizing role of the Iranian Army in the Persian Gulf, saying "the presence of foreigners has been the root cause of insecurity in this region." DiploNews noted Mr. Nasrallah will give a speech on May 9, maybe in Tehran.
