Nicolas Maduro was sworn in at the National Assembly on Friday as interim president of Venezuela, three days after the death of the head of state, Hugo Chavez.
Maduro swore with the Constitution on his hand, in the presence of the president of the National Assembly, Diosdado Cabello.
Visibly moved, Maduro swore to carry on with Chavez’s mandate of giving continuity to the Bolivarian Revolution.
