The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has backed the dynamism of the diplomatic apparatus and praised the government`s recent diplomatic efforts.
The Supreme Leader was referring to the recent visit to New York of President Hassan Rohani.
The Supreme Leader made the remarks while addressing the graduation ceremony of Air Force College here Saturday.
Of course, Ayatollah Khamenei added, "Some of the things that took place dung the visit was not appropriate from our point of view."
However, we are optimistic about the diplomatic corps of our dear government; but we are pessimistic about the Americans. The US administration cannot be trusted; it is hegemonic and unfaithful to its promises," Ayatollah Khamenei added.
The Supreme Leader said the US administration is unreliable, irrational and promise breaker.
Ayatollah Khamenei further described the American administration as a government dominated by the international Zionist lobbies which has to compromise with the occupying regime for the cause of Zionists and be flexible towards them.
"We advise our officials to carefully monitor current developments and never ignore the country`s national interests.
"It is among top priorities of Iranian officials to pay due attention to our national dignity and defend our national identity," said the Supreme Leader.
The fact is that the US administration serves the interests of the Zionist regime, Ayatollah Khamenei said, adding that the Americans are now blackmailing the world and giving hush money to the Zionists.
The country`s armed forces should form a very stronghold to defuse plots of the enemies, said the Supreme Leader.
"The enemies should bear in their mind that our response to any aggression would be very tough", underlined the Supreme Leader.
Ayatollah Khamenei also hailed the bravery of the Iranian Armed Forces mainly the Air Force during eight years of Sacred Defense.
